Colton Ford: New Video

The new single from Colton Ford's new album (available on iTunes as a download). "All My Love" is a sexy promo video.

I knew we were in good hands by the director as soon as I saw bedsheets! Sweet dreams.

Kylie's Timebomb

I first saw this video on the blog Joe. My. God, where a reply from the UK acknowledged: "Sashaying down Old Compton Street.... that girl knows her market." Especially with the rag hanging out of her rear pants pocket!

The video later surfaced on Colton Ford's Facebook post, and it's surely to be a sensation by Pride Day.

Here's Kylie... with her well-timed Timebomb! (Do yourself a favor and go full-screen from that busy page.)

Thank God It's Colton

Because, thank God, it's Friday and because it's rumored that the newly constructed, metal-and-glass, vaguely art-deco building two doors down the street will be a dance club, it's time to celebrate. See how your Dj, Buddy Beaverhausen, brings the disco back to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, home of Saturday Night Fever? (They also need to turn Bay Ridge's Spectrum back into a gay club. It has the authentic, lit-up Saturday Night Fever disco floor as seen in the film. I used to actually come in from Manhattan to see acts like Hazell Dean, Carol Jiani and The Village People, back in the '90s, and the place was packed and always attitude-free.)

I therefore present the official video for Colton Ford's dance version of R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion" (their 1991 smash). And thank God for Colton Ford, who is one hot dude and one really sweet guy. Not to mention, he can sing! Hot song, hot man, it's Friday, let's celebrate and let it all hang out!

My Top Five Most Fabulous Men

I want to discuss my fantasies. Not about being able to fly; having a Rolls-Royce with a chauffeur; or hanging out at a bar, over drinks, with my new best bud, Lady Gaga; not those kind of fantasies. The other kind. The kind that get me... err... a little bewitched, bothered and bewildered. Yes, fantasies about Men, damn it!

It occurred to me to come up with a list about the guys with whom I'd like to get under the covers (at least in my dreams), so here's my top five (for starters), admittedly eclectic, list, in absolutely no particular order. (Of course, all the men listed are famous because, frankly, even though I have very lively fantasies of men on the street or on the subway, I have no names, no bios and no pics for those guys.) Here goes:

Eric McCormack. Yes, I know the gay-for-pay tv star of Will & Grace is straight, but I can dream, can't I, imagining he could be had? I first took note of Eric on an Outer Limits episode, and was thrilled when this hunk ended up assaying the Will Truman role on tv. A recipient of the GLAAD Award and the gayest straight man on Earth, I will be seeing him soon on Broadway in Gore Vidal's The Best Man (and loving it).

Neil Tennant of The Pet Shop Boys, age appropriate, proper sexy British accent, intelligent, sensitive, rich and tall. Just what I'm shopping for! Hello, Neil, dahling!

Porn stars are definitely a part of my fantasies. I love the more mature bears, like Colton Ford (who quit the porn scene after much success for obvious reasons). I know he is very happily involved in a relationship, but I'd have no trouble breaking up somebody's home, so, obviously, that's not a problem.

Then there's Czech hunk, Arpad Miklos. He's a Manhattan escort, so there's always a chance with him, though I'd want him, ultimately, to escort me into bed. I have a feeling that money is a big factor with Arpie, so I'd really have to put in more dj hours. But my big goal would be to make him love me so he'd just forget about that silly money stuff!

Finally, I've long been a fan of this big daddy. The sheer size, those massive shoulders, he's into Zen! I know that Phil Jackson's a married man, but this is my fantasy, after all. I'd be happy with any amazing, colossal man who just resembles him (with a similar bank account, please).

Well, there you have it, the secret Men fantasy file of the mind. Let me know what you think. But, I believe these are, indeed, my Top Five Most Wanted. Of course, I could go on if I were provoked, to do a Top Ten.

PARTY ON NEW YEAR'S EVE with COLTON FORD

So, you're gonna party, right? It's New Year's Eve and Dj Buddy Beaverhausen has something special for you, of course, dropping it on you at the last minute. Colton Ford has a new song, and I'm betting it's a breakthrough for him. The singer-turned porn star-turned singer's "Let Me Live Again" is divine club music that will be a hit at any party, in any club. Some things get bigger and better with age.

(From Youtube but not a video; simply the audio extended remix by Wawa.)

Zeb Atlas in Discoworld

Although I consider myself egalitarian, I'm afraid I have to add the disclaimer that, when it comes to porn stars, they don't all measure up, especially when stalking into the realm of song. Andrea True certainly opened the door crooning the disco classic (and one-time "Sex & the City" theme song) "More More More" with topless model Samantha Fox and Traci Lords tramping the path to dancefloor divadom behind her. Perhaps a new trail was blazed by studly crooner Colton Ford, crossing over from the gay all-male meat market to the disco stage. And now it is none other than 6'3" Zeb Atlas who steps off the bimbo jet and onto the red carpet, only to trip over his big, clumsy feet. The difference between Colton and Zeb? Talent and a touch of elan, I'm afraid.

Colton Ford, nee Glenn Soukesian, is easily one of the handsomest of the gay-porn lot. I've passed him on the street in New York where he's still a looker (though scaled down to mortal size; no longer the amazing, colossal porn god of video fantasies). Glenn began as a professional singer but segued into adult films due to natural talents other than vocal. He quit the porn industry to return to legitimate singing as a club artist, now with his porn-star-anointed name and credentials, and all this is the subject of the documentary movie, "Naked Fame."

Zeb, on the other hand, shares no similar background. Instead, he comes from a strong physical grounding in body building, personal training, modeling and -- well, -- go-go dancing (gotta call it what it is). Not that that's a bad thing, but it gets tired when a boy hits 40.

And so the opportunity to go disco came our big guy's way with a cover of Diana Ross' "Love Hangover," a promo mix by hiNRG producer/remixer Laurent Schark coming across my desk yesterday. The problem at heart: Zeb doesn't sing, not by any standard with any amount of auto-tuning or vocoding, making our Britney sound like a blythe nightingale by comparison. So they brought in Pearly Gates (not a porn star but her name sounds like one) to do most of the showy vocals. Zeb, grunting his part as if hung over but from something other than love, would be sub-par to any construction worker pulled in half-heartedly from his day job.

Zeb can't dance, Zeb can't break a move, Zeb can't smile convincingly. Zeb can still look hot, Zeb can pose, Zeb can do the Elvis lip-curl and Zeb can still be that masochistic fantasy of superior malehood in your dreams. But don't take my word, check out the original mix in the video below (an audio production that owes a debt to the style of Ian Levine), already a YouTube and bloggers' sensation. Lady Gaga, Adele (and Diana Ross for that matter) remain unthreatened. For those of you who have claimed the music industry has become all about image, the proof is in the pudding:
