Bob Esty Month Continues with Love Fire
From the soundtrack for the 1979 movie, "Roller Boogie," here is the Bob Esty/ Michelle Aller song, "Love Fire." This song was originally written with Diana Ross in mind and it's too bad she didn't end up recording this because you can almost hear what it would have been like back in her "The Boss" disco days.
Suffice to say, however, the songwriters make a dynamic duo on vocals. Produced, arranged and conducted in trademark style by the one and only Bob Esty! We are celebrating his talents this month on the blog. Please take the Bob Esty poll at right (but please do not vote for "MacArthur Park" -- not a Bob Esty production and there in error; votes for that song will not be tallied).
Meanwhile, Thank God It's Friday, so roller disco to this, party people:
