Celebrating Bob Esty with Hot Voodoo

This month, we salute the career of the brilliant Bob Esty. He produced this great number that was sung by Paul Jabara from the underrated 1975 film, The Day of the Locust. Based on the Nathaniel West novella, directed by John Schlesinger, starring Karen Black, Donald Sutherland, William Atherton (a hot property at the time), Geraldine Page and Burgess Meredith, it's a macabre and edgy drama set in the Hollywood of the 1930s. I love this film! Gay boys & gals who are too young to remember should absolutely check this out. Thrilling finale!
