Remembering NY Governor Mario Cuomo

Mario Cuomo left us on New Year's Day. He was the best Governor of New York in my lifetime so far, governing from 1983-1994. It would be remiss for me not to say a few words about the man whom today's NY Daily News called a "Liberal Lion" and, indeed, he was that. Cuomo was a strong objector to the policies of then President Ronald Reagan, some of which have led to the Tea Party craziness of today.

RIP, super Mario, a voice much missed today. Cuomo, father of current Governor of NY, Andrew, was 82.
