R.I.P., PRINCE!

Party over, oops, out of time! Ironically, today brought us the 90th birthday of a queen and the death of a Prince.

Another star has left to the house this year.

Prince Rogers Nelson was born in 1958. He was only 57 when he died.

I have such happy memories of his music, especially driving around in my little red Honda listening to "Little Red Corvette" and dancing to "Party Like It's 1999" at a house party. It was 1982, so this sounded very cutting edge at the time.

With his pompadoured hair and flair on-stage, he seemed inspired by Little Richard.

Prince apparently died of flu-like symptoms in his Paisley Park home and music studio.. I suspect more details will be forthcoming.

RIP, Prince.
