I voted in the Democratic primaries this afternoon and I voted for Hillary Clinton I am proud to tell you.
This woman brings tons of experience with her and a former President husband, Bill. She is, in my view, the most qualified of the Democratic candidates and the most deserving of the nomination.
None other than Barbra Streisand announced "We need to elect the first woman president, someone who will represent our values and interests." It pays to have a power diva supporting you.
HC was our 67th Secretary of State under President Obama. She was a First Lady of our nation and a senator from New York City. What better credentials could you possibly have?
The world has had so many great, strong women leaders. It's time for the US to catch up.
Of course, all sorts of rumors, accusations and untruths have been lobbed against this woman. The Monica Blewisky scandal will surely rear its head in a manner of speaking. Par for the course as politics is an ugly game. I admire Hillary and think her the best choice for the people. She will move us forward, not drag us back.
So, today, I schlepped uphill and home again to vote for her in a church on Ridge Boulevard in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NYC. It was worth every minute. Here's to you, Madame President!

Buddy Beaverhausen's Random Thoughts: Strange Bedfellows 2: Dick Cheney Supports Hillary
That 2012 heart transplant seems to have softened the often embittered Dick Cheney up Its donor must have been a Democrat because the ex-V.P (under George W. Bush).
Cheney praised Hillary Clinton but sagely added that his all-out endorsement for her might be a "kiss of death" for the Democratic nominee.
Indeed, as Clinton has been under attack in a smear campaign by rival Bernie Sanders branding her as the new Cheney. I think Sanders is a new big liar, hitting below the belt and smearing her unfairly. He'd say anything to win his party's nomination.
Cheney did not mention Trump, Cruz or any other Repub candidate still standing. But that, in itself, plus his endorsement, speaks a thousand words. It's like the rats are jumping ship before it goes down!
Cheney is, of course, considered a war criminal in most of the world and should be tried. He sent our young soldiers off to die on our invasion of Iraq. Turns out they never existed and he set off a firestorm of hatred and retaliation that goes on until today. Meanwhile, his company Halliburton, then headquartered there made billions off of war and countless deaths.
Hill may feel that, with friends like Cheney, who need needs enemies and wisely stay away from his endorsement. Cheney, on his part, spoke kindly about Hillary's diplomacy skills and ability to reach across the aisle to get things done.

Buddy Beaverhausen's Random Thoughts: Strange Bedfellows ~ Laura Bush Loves Hillary Clinton
Laura Bush has always had a touch of class, and she has now slowly but surely distanced herself from her husband's administration. I mean, she's no fool! She wants to travel internationally and not be tried as a war criminal, after all! Wouldn't you?
It now seems she and Hillary Clinton have bonded and she hints at supporting -- even voting for -- her for President.
Laura's clearly not a fan of Trump. Laura is our 43rd First Lady, a smart cookie and a champion of human rights here and globally. She spoke out supportively on the gay marriage issue and she formed a fast friendship with Michelle Obama who has called her a role model and compatriot.
Michelle and Hillary are very supportive of Ms. Bush's speaking out and writing about the plight of women in Afghanistan. Laura is often a visitor and supporter of African nations. Politics, as they say, makes strange bedfellows.
In 2007, she opened the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health. A quiescent feminist.
So, so what if she has a Clorox fetish. Doesn't everyone? Or if, as a teenager, she had a a car accident and killed her ex-boyfriend who jilted her. Wouldn't we all if we came from prominent families and thought we could get away with it? I mean, we all have our flaws and reckless youths. Still, Laura Bush, we salute you today for your good-samaritan work and bipartisanism!
